Since we have seen or experienced medical problems and emergencies several times on our long-haul cruises, we know how important a well-stocked on-board pharmacy and medical equipment is.
Furthermore, being able to reach a doctor who speaks your native language (German) is also an advantage.
This has prompted us to set up a teleordination for sailors and will subsequently expand it to include an ambulance on our Ocean Pearl.
